LAAS is managed by a publicly elected, dedicated, voluntary management committee.

Chairman

Heather McNaughton

Co-ordinating Lecturer (Disabilities) at TAFESA Renmark Campus. Heather is committed to both the education of

disability support staff and ensuring quality services for people with disabilities in the local region. Heather's

professional background is in speech pathology and bring a wealth of expertise to the LAAS Board

Deputy Chairman

Greg Graetz

Partner in local car dealership and very active in the community. Has been on the board since 1999.

Chief Executive Officer

Ruth Firstbrook

Started the organization in 1986, has worked in the field of intellectual disability for 37 years.

Also Public Officer and Financial Officer. Non-voting board member unless not a quorum.

Julie Ahrens

Deputy Principal atLoxton High School and very active community member, has served on a number of community boards.

Joined the board at the last AGM in 2005.

David and Denise Harris

Parents of two young men who live in LAAS accommodation. This is a shared role on the Board.

Deb is a support worker in the Day Options service and joined the Board at the 2007 Annual General Meeting.
